Zine Nkukwana

Zine Nkukwana is a South African woman who holds several leadership positions in various organisations including being the National Deputy President of Progressive Blacks in Information and Communication Technology as well the Chairperson of Marketing and Communications Committee of the African Tourism Board. She was also the CEO of South African Women in ICT Forum before taking the role of Deputy President at PBICT. Zine is also Technology and Innovation for Gender Equality Action Coalition Advocate under Generation Equality of the UN Women.


Zine is an entrepreneur who is the Chief Executive Officer & owner of Lindamahle Management Systems, a 100% female owned ICT accredited training service provider, which was the first female owned company in Africa signed as a partner to Google in the Digital Skills for Africa Programme. Lindamahle is also accredited and registered as a Cisco Networking Academy, offering ICT development skills to youth and women. Lindamahle is in partnership with IBM in a drive to provide ICT skills on a project called IBM Digital Nation Africa. Lindamahle has also partnered and accredited by Unisa at the Centre for Continuing Education and Training school whereby our course Introduction Fourth Industrial Revolution in Education is accredited and offered as a workshop currently.

She is also currently the Chairperson of All Ladies League: Gauteng Chapter and was the Vice Chairperson of Business-Women Association of South Africa-Gauteng and the Chairperson of Tshwane Branch. She was also an Honorary Member of Junior Chamber International and served as a Stakeholder Relations Director at the Sandton Branch. And many other leadership roles in her career.

Special Recognition:
➢ In 2018 she was requested by Department of Communications and Digital Technologies in partnership with Standard Bank and Ericcson to sit as a Judge of the SMMEs in innovation and technology who would participate at the first International Telecommunications Union (ITU) to be held in Africa. The panel of judges were responsible to choose the best companies to represent South Africa in that world stage.
➢ In September 2019, she was recognised and conferred as the Powerhouse of the Week/Month by Gauteng News newspaper, her interview on the Effects of the Fourth Industrial Revolution was published
➢ In October 2019 she was invited by the Pan African Parliament to the 12th Pan African Parliament Conference on Women’s Rights as a Key Member of the Panel on “Economic Empowerment of Women in Africa”

She has been on SABC News, NewzRoom Africa, ETV, SA FM, Metro FM, Jacaranda FM, Power FM, Kaya FM, Umhlobo Wenene FM, Tru FM, Ikwekwezi FM, Touch Central Radio and on many Community Radio Stations like UCR FM, Alfred Nzo FM and others.


Overall:
Zine is very passionate about women and youth development and has devoted her life in doing philanthropic work with these groups. As a Mentor & Coach she also gives talks locally and internationally on women empowerment and SMME development. She believes investing in women’s economic empowerment sets a direct path towards gender equality, poverty eradication and inclusive economic growth. As the Deputy President of PBICT, she ensures that skills development of the women within the Fourth Industrial Revolution is realised and gives talks, as well as writes articles on the subject. She is a renowned Inspirational and Motivational Speaker on topics pertaining to self-development, as well as Gender Based Violence matters and many more. Due to her work and dedication within the Fourth Industrial Revolution space especially in skills development, she is also known as a 4IR Ambassador. As part of her contribution in the age of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, Zine is ensuring that the youth and women are not left behind especially those in the rural provinces of South Africa.
